Kept stitching on this--I hated that white frame around each one--so easy to mess it up!!!!

This months 4 blocks from 'the book'

started making these dresden plate blocks--all hand pieced--

This months color is blue--

This months dirty dozen for me is the basket blocks--

This is my main leaders n enders project--

what I worked on for hand quilting this month--

got my first air plants at the new plant store downtown--

another baby sweater finished

got me a new hand held camera and 2 new chips one for this camera and one for the big Cannon camera

celebrated Carolyn's 74th birthday down on the dock with 3 of her other friends--

MARCH 2021

 

I got February's daily stitch along from Crabapple Hill hand quilted and finished and it's hung up with the other 2 I have done one in 2020 and one in 2019!!!

two months of Jenny's stitch alongs done--

this is the blocks for this months dirty dozen--the Blessing blocks--started with the row of cute lace along the bottoms of the 9 blocks--

This is all I had left of the lace!!!!!!!

Then I make curtains for the sides of the blocks--

Then I put them together--and hated it--grey is way too dark and that is all I could see-- SOOO I unstitched--and then they sat for awhile---

This month the new hand piecing stitch along started--the name of the pattern is called Harmony-

Got this little quilt all finished--

first block of a stitch along by Joy--I am coloring my blocks--

finally got the felt rabbit made that I wanted to make a year ago-felt came from Shell at Raspberry rabbits--and I have a little lavender sweater that goes really well with her--

I am getting a monthly pin set and a pincushion pattern from Just Another Button Co-and these are the first two make up--they are $16 a month--something fun to come in the mail--

got this truck colored in for embroidery--

What I got done on the Farmhouse series in counted cross stitching--

For knitting--two sweaters--

and finished a pair of socks--

But it was one very very teary eyed sad month--

cause this dear friend--

got her heavenly wings on March 10th--

I really can't believe she is gone--she died from blood cloth due to Covid--

I miss you so much, Dear Frannie--

FEBRUARY

 Got me anew light for the desk--it works much better than one I had there and I can adjust it easier!

Got the second heart block --in yellow --

actually--looks like I worked on both--Jan's and Feb's blocks-

got about 32 yellow yo-yo's made-

and am doing '3' angel blocks in each color of the month--and needed to get them prepped-

Finally got the 4 thinking of you blocks I did last summer finished and in the mail--

to Anne, Alice, Sunny and Carol H--

I played with the new iron-

and got some tops pressed along with backings and battings--and really like how it works--

got these 3 done for hand quilting--and started hand quilting on the top one--

the Christmas one--

Each day in February I did do the rectangle for the day for the Crabapple embroider along--

always enjoy doing these--

Got this quilt finished and hung up--all hand pieced and handquilted--

and got this one finished into a top-

But it's wider too--so has to wait on a longer table before getting it put together--

a larger size baby sweater--

got a new cart to hold my projects in progress in--is at the end of my sewingmachine table-

Won a give away on Mari's site--

Frannie and I went to the Zoo--at 9am and stayed an hour before it got too crowded for us--

then went to Hobby Lobby where I got these 2 new plates for eating my lunch and dinner on-and 

some more baby yarn--and 3 new pcs of blues for the newest hand piecing project--

And then we went to lunch at Cracker Barrel--and they had outdoor seating--

when we went in to pay--I found the little red truck--figure I can decorate it for each holiday!

we had a lovely day out!

This is where I am on the round robin top--but not sure I will do anymore on this one other than add a border or two--

I just need the red thread for this one to be finished--but am waiting for it to come in the mail--

I also joined a mail monthly club--Just another button Co--

we get a free pincushion pattern and a set of 3 cute pins--

and at a trip to Beaul's for my new sketchers --this cute critter came  home with me--

who can resist those eyes--(Frannie took me--she bought 3 prs of sandals!!)

On a very sad note--my dear friend--Margaret passed away this month-I will miss her

checking on me each week and all her advice on to handle my MCS issue!
