NEW YEAR--2019

JANUARY--
Finally feeling better--
got things around to start the Within an Inch sal--
with Shell at Raspberry rabbits--

did an heart applique--

worked a bit more on this block--

ended up changing threads for the hexies--the first ones I picked bled really bad--

read a book--
first weeks hexies--
started May's word play--
(did Jan, Feb, Mar and April a few years ago--)

New Years day I got an email saying I had won a drawing from last year--
for $25 at Fat quarter shop--
so I got the new wool ironing mats and a couple charm packs--

and I actually went and had a mammogram done --

hexies are growing--
but I don't like the thread color for stitching them together--too dark--

been sorting and cleaning again towards the move back to FL--
and I found my little book that I keep track of the hours I stitch each day--

I sorted all the Cosmo's threads--but used colored sandwich bags--
not happy how it came out!!

bought a new iron--
(and took back the other one I had gotten at walmart when I first got here--
this one cost me double as that one--but that one was very heavy and large--
like this one much better--and I also go this one from walmart--

made 3 pockets with fussy cutting the birds fabric--
these are for gifts and for a weekly sewing idea blog I joined--
and I got this embroidery piece all done--
again a gift--

first block for the Hand Piecing sal--
and a red cat for tiny tuesday--

3-d bow tie--
all hand stitched--
Supplies came in for the Crabapple hill studios--
embroidery sal for the month of Feb--

It is growing--

bought more hexies from Shell--good now until the end of June I think!!

I won something else this month--

Country magazine from Bee Haven farms with their story inside of it--

and in the evenings--
I knitted these little gift stockings--45 of them!!!!

SEPT, OCT, NOV & DEC

I spent the first 2-3 months in NY with
a very painful and bad case of the shingles--
so not alot got done--

 Sept--
just a bit of counted cross stitching got done--
the severe pain in my whole right side of my torso
started mid month--

October was a blear--really-
little bit more done on the cross stitch--
2 applique hearts somehow got stitched--
and started a pair of socks--
these have hardly been worked on since--

November-
Fall did get finished--
found I could cross stitch for awhile after I ate breakfast--
but knitting really made my side flare up--
as did typing on the computer--

Dec-
finally some better-
though I think I had food poisoning really bad for 5 days after
Anne and I ate at Curlys on a Tues--

I did alot of sorting of my fabrics mid Nov and sent 3 totes full
with Denise to her shows--she made me a $100 but have lots left yet???

Then I sorted sewing notions ect-
and packaged up 2 medium boxes full--
and sent them to Lynn in CA to hand out to quilters who lost everything in
the fires out there--

Made 18 Polar bear Chmas ornaments and sent them to blog friends and others--

started knitting these little stockings--
(have 12 done--in different colors for next year so far)

this was my 'tree' this year--
and in the gifts plus some from Anne and Melinda--
from Carol in NY
from Alice, Sunny, Melinda and Anne--

And my big big accomplishment in 2018--
In Dec I got this one done--
the summer one--
and that means that I got all 5 samplers finished--

So I did get some quilts quilted this past year--
lots of counted cross stitching done-
and bom blocks done--

Today the last day of the year--2018--it is cold breezy and over cast--(30 degrees)

AUGUST

This months color was orange--

a few more hearts got done-
and some cross stitching--
the summer abc got all the letters stitched in it--
but then decided to go back and do the designs on the fall one--
in hopes that it would be done in time to display this year--

and a couple more sweaters--

also in July and August I had 2 PT guys coming in 2 times a week for work outs--
Danny came and we did lower body--
and Mac came and we upper body--

and I packed and packed--
we shipped 22 boxes this time--and shipped them UPS from Staples--
still had a lot of broken items even with all the bubble wrap and quilts --

I flew back into Elmira on Aug 29th and knew the minute I stepped foot on the tarmac--
I wanted to go right back to Fl--Anne (and Fred) picked me up at the airport--
and then I started a huge adventure------
