so far on the Circa 2016 by Temecula co-
now we will do 2 blocks a week for the outer border--

Have 2 different color groups going on for the Splendid Sampler blocks--
this one is red and black and purple--

and here is a block for each color group--

and this one is bright colors--

Getting alot of the basket blocks done--

this one is my own design--the pail and the shells--

Quilt doodles block was a house--

These 2 blocks are for In my garden-bom--
did not like the busy one, so made a second one with the yellow and black--

and this one is the 2nd block--

and I have begun to design applique dresses for the 'color' of the month--

so I also redid the 2 paper pieced ones and did them as applique--

this months color is purple with yellow--
so did a 2nd dress when I found this yellow/purple print--

and I got the second month x-stitched--

And this wall hanging got done in time to display it before Easter--

I think I had a busy stitchy month--
only one more large basket to go--

FEBRUARY

February this year is one day longer than last years!!
Been busy--

last block of the Orchid quilt is done--

Temecula has a new mini quilt--Circa 2016
am using Downtown Abbey fabric that Anne sent me at Christmas time

Doing a basket quilt--called Plenty and Pieces--

there is alot of smaller filler baskets that I need to do yet--

2nd dress--

and found a paper pieced butterfly--

this is my version--

could not get the black center body parts to line up--
I tried and tried!!

Also found paper piecing star pattern and did a couple of those--

blue butterfly for the January colors of blue/purple

blue/purple stars for January--
cause of a mix up of the pattern pieces, I have 4 stars instead of 2!!

and--

got the 2 tree blocks done for Quilt Doodles--but not really happy at how they came out--sooo may have to redo these!!???

another baby sweater is done--

and Buddy come to live with me--gift from DD--on Feb 10th

and these 2 blocks are for 'In our garden' by Sew Incredibly crafty--
the original pattern does not have tongue--it needs one--but not sure after 2 attempts if I like mine??

he got done a 3rd time and 3 times is the charm!!

I won a book from Bunny Hill--love this book!!

Got the first month finished of the Cross stitching--for Snowflake Fairies--

and got this much done on the Feb block--

went back to work on this one--lots of blocks to finish yet--

and block one of Splendid Sampler--
but then as I did more blocks--
I redid this one--

it looks like I might be working on 2 different quilts here--
but there is 100 blocks to this quilt at 6" square--so time will tell--

Did prep work for an Easter wall hanging--

and finally started this quilt--have wanted to do it for years--
did get a couple more blocks done--

and got this cute card and quilt labels in the mail from Maria in AU

so was a big stitchy month-
