working on this on the week ends-

another week ends work--

small quilt top--

started working on the this sampler each day--

and decided on embroidering the aprons on Sunday's while watching the races--
this season to start with so got floss colors picked out--

and I bought a purple pansy plant--

made it to the Zoo with Frannie--once

got this sampler cross stitched--

and block one done on the Buttermilk basin bom-
lots and lots of stitching on this one

this months bird is the Indigo bunting--
he is really teal--and what a time I had finding the right fabric!!

and I have finally started stitching with fabric that is well over 10 years old

and I got this one all finished even the binding is on it--
all hand quilted--ready now for the next hand piecing bom starting in March--

JANUARY 2020

A whole new year and a new sewing machine to work on--
so what projects am I going to make in the coming year????

I love this bigger 'table' off the machine--

working on appliqueing butterfly's--(have 3 planned)

first one is done-

stitching is all done-
gift from Anne--

and an embroidery project from Anne---
and finished

and back to work on hand piecing these hand pieced blocks together--

top is all stitched together--

reorganized all my buttons from 3 container to 4 so now I can find something--

Baby sweater finished-

color this month is green--
didn't have but a couple so had to go shopping--

have decided on 3 projects for using the color of the month--
9-patches with black center--and doing 4 each month--

and 4 star blocks each month

and I am doing 3 'sisters' block each month--mine are 7" square--
I did the math and cut the size down--

a second color of the month group--
this one goes by a bird each month--
this months was the Gold Finch--

decided to go back to work on this sampler that I started along time ago--
I work on this one on the week ends--

this is the one I am stitching during the week--

doing a new to me series from Shabby Fabrics on ling--
I got January and Feb prepped--

and I got Feb nearly done--
just had to add the backing--

got a new light box from Amazon--love it--$22
and got a iron from a tenant who is moving for $2--
really like it--as it gets hot!!

and I got this sewing box down stairs on the free table--
it like new--and I put threads in it for ongoing projects--
cute cups and saucers on the fabric!!

started these 2 projects--
home one is Buttermilk Basin
and the colored one is a Crabapple sampler to work on each day in Feb-
for National Emb month-

so I got busy and got last years sampler ready for hand quilting--

and got it all finished--yea!!!

So a real busy month--

DECEMBER

last month of 2019--

started this stitch along--done in wools--
9 blocks for the set--

Here they all are--fun ones to do--
would of used different backgrounds--but just didn't have anything that would work--
so these are from a charm pack--

and finally found a couple Chmas t-shirts in all cotton-
but boy did they run--but did enjoy wearing them close to the holiday!!

new patterns for only $2.95 and more new threads--

got an old embroidered table cloth that someone finished the work on--but didn't do the heming on it--so I will--

I walked over to the Melbourne Library--thinking that there was a quilt meeting there--
nobody showed up--but that library is really nice and I got these little books with the animals for $2 each--all went in my Chmas displays--

I started this top as soon as I had the sewing machine hooked up--
and got it all finished even the binding on it--

embroidered this little guy--but haven't finished him off yet???

Got another book read--cute story--

Yea---happy dance--all the word plays are now all stitched--
I changed two big things on this one--
did Santa instead of St Nick and I added Jesus instead of the word merry!!

Knitted me acute santa too--

and I baked--finally made these--they are so cute and very yummy!!

and then Dan took me to the Zoo on Thursday to pick up the pass--
and to do photos we stayed for hour and half--
then stopped at Cheddar's for dinner on the way home!!!
