JUNE

I did keep busy sewing--
things are not good by the end of the month-
with the Covid 19 counts going up and up--
(and all kinds of riots going on everywhere--soooo sad!!!)

I did keep working on the blue hearts a little longer--

and got this top basted for hand quilting--

I took a couple weeks off from sewing and redecorated the apartment--

REally like what I did--
I am still waiting to hang some valances in my living room--
but need help--

finished a small cross stitch--
had this fabric piece since on my first move to Fl back in 1988--

made a couple different style masks for myself--

started a new sew along--called Silver linings--
and the cloth line is called singing in the rain--

got all the hand quilting done on this one and binding on it--all finished--

this months color is pink--
and I did one more green lady--

decided on a design for this set of hand pieced blocks--
all the new pieces are also hand pieced--
opps need to redo these block centers--

this is better--

some new 'toys'-

really like this new tape--
also got this set--which I like--

this months bird of the month--color blue--

all the 'bird' blocks so far--

and this is how I finished off this hand pieced top--
again all hand pieced putting it together--

More pink--
this time light pinks--

Started a new applique each day
a basket block that I designed==
will do alot of different colors--

and I ordered a new to me freezer paper--
just love it--
it is thick like cardstock so really easy to draw around --and repressed down many times-

I waited 70 some days for these 2 orders to come in the mail--
very unhappy with the cloth--super thin--
but this rotary cutter --those blades are sharp and cut--happy camper here!!!

for the pinks this month--
I discovered that I had 3 groups of pinks really--
so did alot of pink stitching--

and this star from the lights --
had a 'broken' point--so it got fixed!!!

This one got completed--
this one is planned to go to the Odessa Library--
though I did learn this month that Gayle has moved to NC--

and this one tops did get finished and basted--
and I was soo happy that one of the pink Kona solids I ordered online--
did match the pink I needed for the inner border!

these are the backings for them--

working on a fall counted cross stitching now--

got this embroider finished--
there was lots of races on to catch up their season--

So another busy month--
and it's a good thing--
Covid-19 it everywhere and the southern states are the worse--
very high counts even here in Brevard County--
I have only been to Publix for groceries-
Carolyn coming and taking me--
everything else has been ordered on line--
I only go out of the apt about 3 times a week now--
to walk and get mail, do laundry and garbage--
and I wear a mask everytime I open my door!!!
